Taj
mahotsav is one of the most awaited festivals in Agra which is celebrated from
18th to 27th February at Shilpgram near the Eastern gate of "Taj
Mahal". Theme of Taj mahotsav 2017 is Sanskriti Ka Satrangi Utsav. This
cultural festival was started in year 1992. It is 10 days long cultural event
where you can explore rich arts, crafts, cultures, cuisine, dance and music of
India. Taj Mahal is UNESCO heritage site and one of the Seven Wonders of the
World representing incredible India.
Visitors
can see more than 400 works of art by artisans which came from different parts
of India. This festival is starts with a road procession with decorated
elephants and camels. Drum beaters, trumpet players, folk dancers, crafts men
and artisans increase the beauty of ceremony.
